I read on the release PowerPoint, that you could hook up external storage . My question is could I , say install Forza horizon 3 on that hard drive for use , even on Android TV? Or am I missing something?
I'm not LS staff but I doubt that will work, simply from a bandwidth point of view. A long time ago I tried playing games off anUSB 2.0 external Hard Drive which had rates of 40 MB/s if I remember correctly. Most games would work but at times there was a noticeable hitch when it had to seek a larger file and loading was SLOW. ISPs sell bandwidth in Mbps so 40 MB/s is 320 Mbps. That was also before games had larger textures, larger models, etc. Portable applications and smaller games could work though.
