LiquidSky client refusing to start

I download the client on a fresh install of windows 7 , it downloads its 250mb of data, then it refuses to start. i open it again, it checks for updates, closes the first window, and never starts again for the actual client or login screen, nothing. No running process in task manager either.

LS requires Windows 8 to run. [It says so on the website]
A fresh install may or may not work and in this case it didn’t. The reason why its because 7 doesn’t have the stream API to run it properly.

Also had to edit the title, its too long.

You will have to provide us your hardware specs to see if its hardware related or not. Also not sure if you ran it in admin mode cause that might help, otherwise you might be SOL (unless you upgrade your OS), sorry.
